The Practical Test is the final step in earning your Aviation Mechanic Certificate, administered by the FAA or an FAA-authorized examiner. Our owner, Michael Bisek, is a Designated Mechanic Examiner authorized to conduct oral and practical exams for the General Aircraft Mechanic, Airframe Mechanic, and Powerplant Mechanic certifications.
All exams administered by Michael follow the Airman Certification Standards (ACS). These standards ensure consistency and fairness in testing and are used by both FAA inspectors and designated examiners. Applicants are encouraged to review the ACS guidelines during their training and exam preparation to understand what will be expected during the practical test.
